We are Daan and Elvire van Dijkman, Dutch winegrowers in Provence. Since 1998 we produce organic wines that excel in quality at Domaine de Marotte – just outside Carpentras at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Our vineyards – the oldest of which dates from 1902 – are 28 hectares. You can visit us without an appointment for guided tours and tastings and by appointment for picnics. Of course, it is possible to buy our wines directly during your visit or you can order them on our webshop. Furthermore, there is also the possibility to book one of our gîtes for a wonderful holiday.

Domaine de Marotte
Domaine de Marotte is located at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Between the vineyards stands a fortified monastery farm – a so-called Mas – that dates from the end of the 16th century. In the past, fruit and vegetables were mainly grown around the Mas. At the end of the 19th century there were also many truffles, but these are more difficult to find nowadays.
Marotte vins
The vineyards of Domaine de Marotte are located on the southern slopes of Mont Ventoux, close to the famous wine villages of Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise. Our wines are called ‘AOP’ Ventoux (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) and Vin de Pays de Méditerranée.
