Domaine de Marotte Vieilles Vignes

Our Cuvée Vieilles Vignes is a powerful and characterful red wine produced from our oldest vines, ranging from 54 to 121 years old. Their very low yield gives the wine remarkable concentration and intensity. The nose reveals aromas of black cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, combined with notes of wild thyme, rosemary, mint and sage. Subtle hints of forest floor, leather and oak add further complexity. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and spicy, with a long finish and excellent ageing potential. A perfect match for rich meat dishes and mature cheeses.
